User-Guide:Edit-Pages
From PageLime Documentation
Editing Content
Assuming you followed all the steps in Page Integration and successfully saw the lovely lime callouts on your page, editing with PageLime is so simple a lemon could do it.
- Click "Edit Site"
- Navigate to the page you would like to edit.
- Click on the lime callout above the element you would like to edit.
- This will bring up the WYSIWYG editor.
- If you are familiar with word processing applications the icons should look quite familiar.
- Notes:
- The "HTML" button will bring up the actual HTML contained within the selected editable element.
- The "INSERT/EDIT IMAGE" button will bring up the image attributes form. This will let you make changes to or add images to the currently selected element. When the form is open, and you click the browse button, it will automatically load the PageLime Image-Gallery and allow you to upload new pictures or insert any picture already contained within.
- After you make your changes click on the "OK" button on the lower left of the WYSIWYG Editor. You can now view your changes in the context of your actual website.
- If you are satisfied with your changes click the "Save" button in the upper left of the Edit Page navigation. This will save a draft of the changes you have made during this session.
- Note:
- This doesn't make any changes to your website, and this draft will remain in your Content History even if you log out or close your web browser. You can return to this draft and Publish it anytime.
- Whenever you are ready, you can click the "Publish" button and your changes will be applied to your website. If you set a publish passkey when you Added the Site you will be prompted to input that now.
