User-Guide:Edit-Images

From PageLime Documentation

Editing Content

Assuming you followed all the steps in Page Integration and successfully saw the lovely lime callouts on the images on your page, image editing with PageLime is an undeniably limetastic breeze.

  • Click "Edit Site"
  • Navigate to the page you would like to edit.
  • Click on the lime callout above the image you would like to edit.
  • This will load the Image-Gallery.
  • From here you can select an image you already have uploaded to the system, or upload a new image.
  • After the upload or image selection the Auto Zoom Crop widget loads up.
  • Note:
    • From this screen you can crop and zoom just the part of the image that you want to add based on a 1:1 ratio of the original image you are replacing. When the system publishes there will be no stretching or schmooshing evident in the image.
  • Click the "Finish" button to insert the cropped image or the "Cancel" button to go back to the Image Gallery.
  • After looking at the updated image in the PageLime browser, and determining that you are satisfied with your image changes click the "Save" button in the upper left of the Edit Page navigation. This will save a draft of the image changes you have made during this session.
  • Note:
    • This doesn't make any changes to your website, and this draft will remain in your Content History even if you log out or close your web browser. You can return to this draft and Publish it anytime.
  • Whenever you are ready, you can click the "Publish" button and your image changes will be applied to your website. If you set a publish passkey when you Added the Site you will be prompted to input that now.

This concludes the User-Guide:Edit-Images Section.
